Waterfall Scene

I thought it would be fun to try to build a little scene in Blender and render it. I was right! Building this scene was not easy. I think it will become easier with practice, but it will never become effortless, I think. It was easy to lose direction. For my next scene, I think I'll start with a 2D sketch to make it easier to see what still needs to be added. I understand that node-editors are often used in place of shader languages like glsl or hlsl for a reason, but it always feels so cumbersome from my perspective to drag-and-drop so many nodes and wires just to zero-out the z component of a 3-vector.
